How to Order



In the initial stage of thinking about your Wedding Stationery, it is highly unlilkely that
you will have all the details of your 'On the Day' requirements as you will not be 100% sure of the final numbers and guests names. With this in mind, your stationery can be ordered in one of the two following options.

EITHER.....
1. PAY AS YOU GO

Simply pay for your stationery in stages as you order it.

OR.....
2. PAY IN ADVANCE (10% discount)

You can order everything in advance and take advantage of a 10% 'Early Payment' discount. You don't need to have all of the information for your 'On the Day' stationery in order to qualify for this discount as we will deal with the samples and proofs for those items nearer the time. You don't have to over order anything either. Just order the minimum quantity of each item of stationery that you are sure you will need, as we will issue you a final 'top up' invoice for any last minute requirements, which will also incorporate the 10% discount.


Ordering Process

Step One - Request a Proof
A PROOF is an accurate example of how the finished wedding stationery will look. Once you have chosen your design, colours, font and wording options, you will be ready to request a Proof for your invitations and RSVP cards. You can do this by completing the Proof Request Form that you will have received with your initial sample, or by emailing us with the details.

The Order of Service, Menus, Place Cards, Table Names & Tableplan details are quite complex and so we need to receive this information via email, preferably no later than 4 weeks before the wedding date. Once your invitations have been sent out to your guests, please let us know the other items that you will be needing and we can send you generic samples and, nearer the time, your personalised proofs for approval.

Step Two - Approve your Proof

Within 7 days of receiving your Proof request, we will send out your first pair of PERSONALISED PROOFS of your Invitations & RSVP cards, along with an Order form. One proof is for you to keep and the other is to be signed, dated and returned to us. Please advise us of any amendments and, if required, we will send you a final pair of proofs within 5 working days. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PROOFS VERY CAREFULLY AS ONCE WE HAVE GONE TO PRINT, MISTAKES CANNOT BE RECTIFIED AND ANY REPRINTS WILL HAVE TO BE CHARGED AGAIN.

Step Three - Confirm your Order

Once you are 100% happy with your FINAL PROOFS, please sign and date one copy and return to us with your completed ORDER FORM and your PAYMENT IN FULL. Payment can either be made by cheque, payable to Val Carr Design, or by calling us with your credit/debit card details on 01277 203639.

You can also confirm your order and approve your proofs by email. We will send you the proofs as pdfs which you can approve via return email, with pdfs as attachments.

Step Four - Receive your Wedding Stationery and Invite your Guests

When we receive your order, we will make up your stationery as soon as possible. Delivery timescales vary based on the design, quantities and the time of year, but, generally you can expect delivery of your wedding stationery within four weeks of placing your order. If your timescale is more urgent, please get in touch and we will make every effort to help you.
